Qualus is seeking a Power Systems Engineer for its Winter 2027 Engineering Boot Camp, a structured, full-time program designed to accelerate growth in the power industry. You'll participate in classroom instruction, site visits, and hands-on substation training, with an aim to transition to a full-time role and future FE exam readiness.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) with focus on power systems.
• Ability to travel 50–70% of the time.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience or education related to medium/high voltage is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies for various facilities using SKM/ETAP/Easypower.
• Apply knowledge of switchgear, MCCs, breakers, panels, and disconnects for mitigation solutions.
• Develop study reports and communicate results to customers.
• Develop relay settings and equipment control schematics.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and budgets.
