Job summary

Qualus invites aspiring engineers to join its Summer 2027 Engineering Boot Camp as Power Systems Engineer I. You will be immersed in classroom instruction, site visits, and hands-on substation training, with guidance to prepare for the FE exam and a pathway to full-time employment.

You will perform power system studies, coordinate with multiple teams, and contribute to project reports while growing expertise in protection, control, and power quality across geographic locations.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time.
• Experience with power system studies is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Develop study reports and communicate results to customers.
• Maintain up-to-date technical skills related to substation design and protection.
