Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, Inc. seeks an early-career Electrical Engineer to support the design, analysis, implementation, commissioning, and protection and control of power systems for industrial facilities, commercial projects, and T&D infrastructure.

You will work under the guidance of a senior electrical engineer. Responsibilities include developing diagrams, performing relay settings, power system studies, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• BSEE or equivalent degree; relevant experience may be considered.
• 0–2 years hands‑on electrical engineering experience in power systems.
• Familiarity with digital relays, electric relays, VFDs, UPSs, transfer switches, generators, transformers.
• Willingness to travel up to 10–25% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, development, and implementation of power system solutions.
• Develop diagrams and control panel designs; review manufacturer drawings.
• Perform power system studies and relay settings using industry software.
• Support field testing, commissioning, and travel to client sites.
