Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, Inc. seeks a senior Electrical Engineer - Power to lead project engineering management for industrial, commercial, and power infrastructure clients.

You will own project execution, technical quality, client interface, and profitability under the Business Unit Manager. Responsibilities include leading projects up to $3M, translating client intent into scope, developing schedules, managing budgets and changes, coordinating CAD, and interfacing with subs and vendors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of directly related experience in building or power systems electrical engineering.
• Strong leadership, project management, and client relationship skills are required.
• Experience with power systems modeling software such as SKM Powertools, ETAP, EasyPower is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution for assigned work up to ~$3M in value.
• Translate client design intent into a clear scope of work.
• Identify, prioritize, schedule, and assign tasks to meet deadlines.
• Drive work independently while maintaining budget and changes.
• Oversee daily project operations and coordinate with CAD support.
• Develop engineering schedules aligned with client requirements.
• Prepare change orders and manage purchases/subcontractors.
