Job summary

TekWissen LLC is seeking a Power System Engineer to support the interconnection of new generation resources and planning of the electric power system in Taylor, TX. Hybrid work arrangements are available, with a 12-month duration for this temporary assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Entry level: <1 year in electric utility industry.
• Level 2: 2 years in electric utility industry.
• Nice to have: PSSE, Python, VBA, Access, Oracle, SQL, TARA.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering analysis to ensure reliable interconnection of new generators to the Client system.
• Implement system modeling and perform powerflow studies.
• Develop tools and procedures for system studies and report findings.
• Track interconnection milestones through study requests to commercial operation.
