Job summary

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent), with preferred PE certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Learns and uses software tools, processes, and procedures to improve system reliability.
• Participates in multifunctional teams to gather input and perform studies.
• Mentors less experienced engineers/analysts when needed.
• Works independently on assignments and projects.
• Coordinates with ERCOT departments and stakeholders as required.
• Applies power system theory and ERCOT rules to project tasks.
