Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Entry level - <1 year experience in electric utility industry.
• Level 2 – 2 years of progressively responsible experience in electric utility industry.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes the results of power system studies and compares to actual operation data.
• Performs powerflow studies to analyze the feasibility of proposed generation interconnections.
• Reviews interconnection applications for compliance with planning guides, protocols, and requirements.
• Identifies process improvements for interconnection study workflows and data management.
• Communicates requirements and results to all stakeholders in the interconnection process.
• Tracks milestones from study request through commercial operation.
