Job summary

A leading energy solutions provider is looking for a PSA Engineer with 6–8 years of experience in Power System Applications – Generation. The ideal candidate should have expertise in GE PowerOn Reliance (XA21) or equivalent EMS platforms, alongside strong Linux and Windows skills. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and EMS administration. This position is open to candidates in Melbourne, FL, or Bellevue, WA, with remote options available. A degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

Melbourne, FL or Bellevue, WA (On-site preferred | Remote considered)

Contract

We’re looking for a PSA Engineer (6–8 yrs exp.) with strong expertise in Power System Applications – Generation, including AGC, Economic Dispatch, Load Forecasting, Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, and OTS.

Hands-on experience with GE PowerOn Reliance (XA21) / AEMS-GDC or equivalent EMS platforms (Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider)

Strong skills in Linux & Windows, EMS administration, live system fixes, and troubleshooting

Experience with IEC 101/104, DNP3, ICCP, Modbus, SQL/Oracle, and C/C++/Shell scripting

Background working with Utilities, ISOs, or TSOs

B.E./B.Tech or M.S. in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred)
