Job summary

Amphenol ICC in Seattle, WA seeks a Customer Engineer who interfaces with customers and internal product development, marketing and sales to develop power solutions. You will create models and presentations, apply product knowledge, and support engineering with drawings, specs and test results.

Use Windchill and Creo, collaborate across Engineering, Thermal, Manufacturing, and Test Labs, and travel as needed to support design proposals and customer engagements.

• Strong organizational and presentation abilities for technical proposals.
• High level customer service and relationship-building with clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to develop power solutions addressing needs and requirements.
• Assess customer needs and map them to current products or propose modifications for new concepts.
• Provide product knowledge to recommend best solutions and create technical presentations.
• Create models and technical proposals to illustrate concepts and solutions.
• Be proficient in Windchill and product configurators for documentation.
• Provide key engineering documents including drawings, specs and test data.
• Engage with engineering, thermal, manufacturing and test labs as needed.
