Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Customer Engineer to interface with customers and internal teams, delivering power interconnect solutions and guiding product development.

You will analyze customer needs, prepare models and presentations, and coordinate with thermal, MFG, and test labs. Travel may be required; bachelor in mechanical engineering and at least 2 years of design-win experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience providing technical support to achieve design wins in connectors.
• Proficient in Creo and Windchill for 3D modeling and PDM.
• Familiarity with server/storage/networking architectures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to develop power solutions meeting requirements.
• Assess needs and propose existing or modified products; support development.
• Create models and technical presentations for concepts.
• Provide engineering documents: drawings, specs, test results.
• Engage engineering teams and support lab testing for designs.
• Travel as required.
