Smurfit Westrock in Evadale, TX, invites an experienced Operations Maintenance Coordinator (OMC) to lead the Power & Recovery area. You will partner with production and maintenance to prioritize work, schedule outages, and ensure reliability while controlling costs.

The role requires an engineering degree or equivalent, 8+ years in mill maintenance, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with SAP, Project, Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent operations/maintenance experience (8+ years).
• Knowledge of maintenance management principles including preventive maintenance, RCA, shutdown planning, and CMMS.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance work and outages to ensure operating reliability.
• Lead safety programs, LOTO, audits, and environmental compliance.
• Prioritize daily work, plan shutdowns, and manage maintenance backlogs.
• Drive cost control and continuous improvement in the maintenance budget.
