Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking a Power & Recovery Superintendent to lead the department's operations, safety and continuous improvement. You will drive quality, productivity and cost effectiveness while guiding capital initiatives and budgeting.

The role emphasizes people development, strong safety culture and stakeholder collaboration. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in Power/Recovery, with Lean/Six Sigma experience, strong leadership and regulatory knowledge to ensure compliance and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering preferred and/or 5-10 years of Power/Recovery Operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, environmental regulations, and safety programs.
• Proven ability to lead process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and capital project input.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership capabilities.

The Opportunity

The Power & Recovery Superintendent leads process operations of the Department. This position is responsible for creating a safe work environment, executing and continuously improving the quality, productivity, efficiency and cost of the operation. The Power & Recovery Superintendent reports to the Mill Operations Manager.
