Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Power Protection Instructor to deliver hands‑on, instructor‑led training on power protection technologies. You will tailor content for audiences, support lab environments, and collaborate with product teams to ensure alignment with latest updates.

The role emphasizes deep protection experience, training capability, and scalability of impact through education across customer and internal teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years in power system protection across transmission, distribution, or industrial environments.
Experience with protection relays and protection schemes from any manufacturer.
Experience commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting power protection systems.
Hands‑on use of secondary injection or test equipment (Omicron, Doble, Megger).
Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality instructor‑led training on power system protection fundamentals and relay applications.
Teach CT/VT fundamentals, fault analysis, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
Customize course materials to meet customer and internal needs.
Support hands‑on labs and guide learners through real‑world protection scenarios.
Collaborate with engineering, product management, and services to align content with updates.
