Siemens invites recent graduates to join the Power Protection and Automation Engineering Development Program (PA EDP) in Wendell, NC. The one-year program features two six-month rotations—Protection and Automation—with substantial training and hands-on field work across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Power/Energy Systems Engineering or related field.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to work in teams.
• Willing to travel up to 38 weeks per year and relocate to Wendell, NC.

Responsibilities

• Complete two six-month rotations in Protection and Automation, including training and field rotations across the U.S.
• Design and implement power protection and automation solutions for substations.
• Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Transition to Solutions Engineering after the program with ongoing development.
