Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an Associate Intern to join our project controls and project management team for a Summer 2027 start. You will assist with scheduling, cost tracking, progress monitoring, and reporting on power‑related engineering projects.

The role supports a BS in Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or General Engineering, with ABET accreditation preferred. You will develop detailed Excel workbooks, use MS Office tools, and gain exposure to Primavera P6 and related

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS with emphasis in Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or General Engineering.
• ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Self-starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction.
• Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions, and meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of MS Office tools, especially MS Excel for detailed spreadsheets and databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with project teams, clients, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Project scheduling, cost tracking, progress monitoring, and reporting for power-related engineering projects.
• Utilize and expand academic background in project controls and management tools.
• Learn new skills and develop knowledge to impact project team operations.
