Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Trade school certification and three years’ work experience or five years’ experience in boiler room operations preferred.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, or plumbing trades; fire alarm systems; building management systems; variable frequency drives; basic analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers and auxiliary equipment to provide heat and power for the organization.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and/or improve equipment function; support mechanical, electrical, and related duties.
• Read blueprints/schematics, interpret instruments, diagnose mechanical problems, and act on urgent issues.
