Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, repair and clean power plant equipment.
• Observe plant operation and make adjustments as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and equipment breakdowns.
• Read meters and gauges to monitor temperature, pressure, water levels, etc.
• Keep power plant logs with readings and fuel usage.
• Test boiler water and returns; add chemicals to balance mix.
• Perform other duties and comply with policies and standards.
