Job summary

Rockingham County, NH is seeking a General Maintenance and Shift Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of the boiler plant and related systems at the County Complex. You will service boilers, HVAC/R systems, and pneumatic equipment while supporting residents and staff.

The role requires a High School education and 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with a valid driver’s license. Shifts include 2nd and 3rd with differential pay and weekend premiums; union environment and

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of industrial/commercial maintenance experience.
• Equivalent vocational/technical training may be acceptable with two years demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oil & wood biomass fired boilers and related systems.
• Perform safety inspections and repairs on boilers, HVAC/R, and associated equipment.
• Respond to emergencies, such as fire alarms or snow removal, as needed, up to 16 hours.
