Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking a Site Manager for simple/combined cycle projects. You will lead construction, startup, and turnover, coordinating with craft labor, subcontractors, suppliers, and startup teams.

This role focuses on safety, quality, budget adherence, and timely delivery across multiple project sites. Responsibilities include directing the site team, managing resources, and driving lean construction practices to optimize field execution and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience on similar projects in construction management role with a Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years experience with 3 years at superintendent level or above on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, update, and refine the Construction Execution Plan to safely and efficiently deliver construction activities.
• Oversee full construction effort including equipment erection, craft labor, subcontractors, and startup activities.
• Manage construction and startup costs to support budgets while prioritizing safety, quality, and schedule.
• Review monthly budget, schedule, and quality; identify risks and take action to stay on plan.
• Direct implementation of project controls processes and procedures.
• Build strong relationships with clients, owners, and suppliers to promote collaboration on site.
• Lead the site management team and create an environment for high performance.
• Champion project safety and quality assurance procedures and ensure readiness for commissioning.
