Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Construction Manager to lead field activities on simple cycle and combined-cycle power projects. You will coordinate day-to-day construction, partner with the Site Manager, ensure safety, quality, and adherence to schedule and budget, and travel to project sites as required.

This field-based role emphasizes on-site leadership, coordination with subcontractors, and driving continuous improvement while upholding our safety standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years construction supervisory experience.
• OSHA Training.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on-site subcontractor activities to support safe, efficient execution of simple cycle and combined cycle construction work.
• Coordinate site access, daily work planning, and field logistics to work safely and productively.
• Support Project Construction Execution Plan and provide leadership to field teams.
• Monitor productivity, schedule performance, and progress to meet budget, schedule, safety, and quality goals.
• Develop and execute schedule recovery plans with subcontractors and leadership.
