Job summary

Consolidated Asset Management Services, LLC (CAMS) in Pennsylvania seeks a Shift Supervisor to maximize station production safely and efficiently. You will coordinate a team of hourly workers under the Operations Supervisor, ensuring compliance with procedures and environmental limits.

The role requires leadership, 5+ years in coal-fired power, strong communication, and the ability to train staff while maintaining safety on 12-hour shifts, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or related technical training preferred; HS diploma required with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years related experience in coal-fired power generation; 8 years may substitute for a degree.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and training abilities; capable of leading shift teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety rules and equipment operation are followed.
• Coordinate tagging and isolation for safe repairs.
• Schedule unit activities with dispatch and communicate capabilities and risk.
• Oversee startup and shutdown of generating units and switching.
• Supervise operation of boilers, generators, and related equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure environmental permit compliance.
• Lead and train direct reports to maximize team potential.
