Merck is seeking a Boiler/Power Plant Operator to observe and operate outside utilities distribution systems, turbo-generators, and associated equipment. The role includes water treatment and plant chemistry management across RO/DI systems, UV, and ozone processes.

Candidate will work rotating shifts and must have the NJ Blue Seal 3rd Class Engineer license and prior powerplant experience; cgPM compliance and proper documentation are required.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Blue Seal 3rd Class Engineers (1-C) license required.
• Previous powerplant operating experience.
• Ability, fitness, and skill.

Responsabilités

• Observe and operate outside utilities distribution systems to provide site services.
• Operate turbo-generators and turbine room switchgear.
• Manage water conditioning equipment including RO units, DI water, filters, UV, ozone.
• Test and adjust heaters and boilers for proper chemistry.
• Rotating shift work: 6AM-2PM, 2PM-10PM, 10PM-6AM.
• Follow SOPs and communicate shift information to relievers.
• Train personnel for qualifications or advancement.
