Zusammenfassung

Camden Plant Holdings (Camden) seeks a Plant Operator to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant equipment under the direction of the Shift Lead OMT and O&M Manager.

Applicants must hold a New Jersey Blue Seal Boiler Operator license or higher, with at least five years of experience in power generation and DCS systems. Rotating shifts, weekend/holiday coverage, and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifikationen

• New Jersey Blue Seal Boiler Operator License or higher.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience operating and/or maintaining major power generation equipment.
• Experience with distributed control systems (DCS) or other digital control platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams and technical documentation.
• Meet physical requirements of the job such as perform tasks while standing, walking (up to 12 hours), climbing stairs and ladders, reaching overhead, and squatting.
• The ability to lift (50 pounds), use hand tools and test instruments. Wearing personal protective equipment in the performance of duties.
• Working rotating shifts, including weekends and holiday coverage, and off-shift coverage. "On Call" status may be required.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound operation of plant equipment.
• Assist in combined-cycle plant start-up, shutdown, and equipment operations as necessary.
• Operate plant equipment during normal and emergency operation, including valves and switches.
• Communicate information clearly, both orally and written.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment to resolve operational problems.
• Monitor and record data with various instruments and input data into shift logs.
