Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years’ experience in a power plant environment, oilfield, or equivalent education and industrial experience.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and monitor in a safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound manner power plant equipment.
• Observe variations in operating conditions and interpret meter readings to troubleshoot plant equipment and resolve operational problems.
• Monitor and record data from instruments and shift logs as directed by procedures.
• Learn proper operating procedures and follow safety guidelines for personnel and public protection.
