Job summary

Luminant Power LLC is seeking an Auxiliary Operator III at Kincaid, IL. You will assist in operating boiler auxiliary equipment and support the plant’s safe, efficient production at a fossil-fuel generating station.

The role includes shift work, basic electrical switching, and participation in the fire brigade. A HS diploma or GED is required, with a preferred associate degree in a power-related field and safety training completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Willingness to operate and maintain plant systems safely.
• Reading and interpreting safety rules and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist operation of boiler auxiliary equipment and systems.
• Support higher-level operators and supervisors.
• Perform electrical switching up to 4,000 volts.
• Engage in fire brigade duties and wear protective gear.
• Complete required safety and environmental training.
