Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC in Granbury, Texas is seeking a Plant Supervisor to support the operation and maintenance of a power generating station. The role may require travel to assist other Luminant sites.

You will supervise multi-skill production and maintenance staff, ensure safety, environmental and regulatory compliance, and coordinate projects. Proficiency with Maximo for planning and with WST scheduling is required, along with 5–7 years of plant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 5-7 years of power generation plant experience.
• Experience using Maximo for planning work, creating purchase requests, and creating job plans.
• Experience with WST, the preferred scheduling tool used by Luminant.

Responsibilities

• Supporting day-to-day operation and maintenance of a generating station.
• Supervise and direct multi-skill production and maintenance staff to achieve safe operation.
• Ensure and monitor safety and environmental compliance, regulatory compliance, and documentation.
• Assist in coordination and implementation of special projects.
• Respond to emergency call out situations and assist in troubleshooting.
• Interface with outside vendors and contractors.
• Plan and schedule for plant site.
