Job summary

Consolidated Edison Company of New York is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team responsible for the safe, efficient operation of the E74th Street Complex. You will oversee repairs and overhauls of boilers, pumps, motors, and auxiliary equipment while promoting a culture of safety and compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on maintenance knowledge, and experience with Maximo/Oracle systems, balancing resources and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of power plant or merchant shipping experience with electrical/mechanical equipment or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience and ability to lead union/contractor personnel.
• Knowledge of work permits, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise union and contractor personnel and manage performance.
• Coordinate schedules and resources for repair and overhaul of plant equipment.
• Ensure contract adherence and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain documentation in MAXIMO and other systems.
• Support planning, safety, and efficiency initiatives.
