Job summary

Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (Con Edison) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team at the E74th Street Complex. You will oversee repair, maintenance, and overhaul of boilers, pumps, motors, and related equipment while promoting safety and regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on safe, environmentally responsible operation and efficient energy delivery to customers, with a leadership-driven approach to maximize resource use and team development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of equivalent power plant or merchant shipping experience.
• Associate's Degree with 4 years of equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's in Engineering with 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience supervising personnel and working with union/contractors.
• Licenses: Driver's License; NYC Boiler License preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Maximo, Oracle.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise union and contractor personnel and ensure safety and standards.
• Manage contractor engagements using quotes, Oracle POs, and CAM compliance.
• Maintain MAXIMO updates and maintenance logs.
• Plan schedules and resource allocation for repair/overhaul of boilers and plant equipment.
• Collaborate with planning and attend daily management meetings.
• Ensure data backups and secure handling of records.
• Travel to company locations for storm restoration and contingencies.
