Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at our New York facility. You will ensure safe, efficient plant maintenance and coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to plan inspections, repairs, and calibration of equipment and instrumentation.

You will supervise maintenance staff, review procedures for safety and environmental compliance, manage work orders and CMMS records, and oversee contractors during outages and major projects to keep operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent desirable.
• 3–5 years' experience in a power plant environment or military background.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of steam generating power plant operations, maintenance and control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS tools.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, and supervises daily maintenance work.
• Ensures compliance with operating and emergency procedures.
• Makes daily inspections of plant machinery for safety and SOP adherence.
• Assigns daily work with Operations, maintains on-call communications.
• Supervises preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance and contractor work.
• Prepares work orders, authorizes tasks, schedules outages.
• Trains and evaluates maintenance staff; monitors contractor performance.
• Maintains CMMS records and manages spare parts procurement.
