Job summary

The CAMS facility in Pace, FL seeks an Instrumentation Controls and Electrical Technician to maintain and repair instruments, control systems, and electrical equipment in a fast‑paced power plant environment. You will diagnose, calibrate, install, inspect, and repair DCS, PLCs, transmitters, and related hardware while following safety and regulatory procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma and Instrument Technician training; 2+ years in a power plant or 4+ years in a related role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Instrument Technician program preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a combined cycle power plant or similar environment; 4+ years with equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment.
• Maintain and repair electrical systems, transformers, relays, motors, and distribution systems.
• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical and control equipment and wiring.
• Plan, schedule, and execute outages and maintenance projects.
• Generate, manage, and close work orders using Maximo; manage inventory.
• Coordinate and direct contractors as needed to support IC&E scope.
