Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair power plant equipment, including boilers, electrical and control systems, and field controllers across 120V to 13.8kV. You will calibrate instruments, troubleshoot DCS, and support emissions monitoring systems in a safety‑driven environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and experience with motor starters, PLCs, and high power.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have experience with motor starters, PLCs and high power.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and testing of low, medium and high voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motor starters, and power transformers.
• Maintain higher voltage switchyard equipment and steam turbine driven generators.
• Perform electrical maintenance related to energy from waste boilers and associated equipment (pumps, fans, motors, conveyors, cranes).
• Troubleshoot and repair CEMS, process instrumentation, flow/level/temperature devices and communications.
• Work with DCS and historian devices; calibration, thermography, ultrasonic testing as needed.
