Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead fuel-side operations at a major power generation facility in Massachusetts.

You will oversee rail tipping, shredding, metals processing, tipping floor activities, and ensure safe, reliable plant performance. You will monitor fuel quality and production targets, coordinate maintenance through CMMS, conduct safety meetings, train operators, and coordinate shift transitions with plant leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to complete facility qualifications and technical training.
• Knowledge of safety programs, including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Hot Work.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and process flow diagrams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of CMMS and maintenance work orders.
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts following training.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fuel-side operations, including rail tipping, shredding, metals processing, and tipping floor activities.
• Monitor fuel quality, production targets, and operating schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental requirements, and company policies.
• Serve as Fuel Control Line Authority (CLA) and prepare Work Clearance Permits.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment inspections using the CMMS.
• Conduct safety meetings, train operators, and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate with plant leadership and ensure effective shift transitions.
