Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a Fuel Operations Supervisor to oversee safe and efficient fuel plant activities on evening shifts, reporting to the Fuel and Operations Superintendents. The role directs fuel-side operations and plant personnel while supporting shredder and tipping floor production goals.

It requires coordinating with maintenance and operations teams to ensure reliable performance during planned and unplanned downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of facility Qualifying Standards for Operations Fuel Supervisor and training.
• Ability to read and apply safety programs (Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Hot Work).
• Interpret process diagrams, blueprints, manuals and instructions.
• Strong communication and leadership to motivate frontline teams.
• Experience with scheduling preventive maintenance in a CMMS system.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review daily production goals, fuel-side conditions, and operating schedules.
• Conduct routine plant rounds to monitor shredders and equipment safety.
• Manage fuel quality to meet plant and operational standards.
• Ensure fuel-side operations follow policies and best practices.
• Serve as Fuel Control Line Authority and prepare Work Clearance Permits.
• Collaborate with supervisors to align on daily priorities.
• Oversee housekeeping, hammer turns and hammer changes.
• Monitor shift relief transitions for continuity.
• Review service requests prior to entry and execution.
• Review operator logs for accuracy and insight.
• Use CMMS to review equipment history and maintenance orders.
• Lead daily safety meetings with shift personnel.
• Conduct operator training and support workforce development.
