Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Fuel Operations Supervisor to oversee safe and efficient fuel plant activities during evening shifts, coordinating with maintenance and operations to maintain plant performance during downtime. The role reports to the Fuel Superintendent and Operations Superintendent, with scheduling rotating to cover seven days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Successful completion of facility Qualifying Standards for Operations Fuel Supervisor and required training.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply safety programs.
• Interpret process flow diagrams, blueprints, manuals and instructions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for frontline teams.
• Working knowledge of maintenance management systems for scheduling PMs.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review daily production goals, fuel-side conditions, and operating schedules.
• Conduct routine plant rounds to monitor shredders and equipment for safe, efficient operation.
• Manage fuel quality to ensure compliance with plant requirements.
• Ensure fuel-side operations follow policies, procedures and best practices.
• Serve as Fuel Control Line Authority (CLA) and prepare Work Clearance Permits.
• Lead daily safety meetings and support workforce development initiatives.
