The position offers a direct path into Operations Manager, Facilities Manager, or Maintenance roles, with a rotating shift setup and a strong safety/environmental focus.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Second Level Engineer’s License required.
• 3+ years supervisory or engineering experience in heavy industrial, power generation, or resource recovery.
• Hands-on experience with high-pressure boilers, steam turbines, and electric generating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fuel processing system during shift and operate boilers/turbines.
• Enforce safety standards and environmental permits; coordinate with maintenance.
• Lead, train and develop shift personnel; respond to emergencies.
• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
• Maintain licenses and certifications; participate in plant performance projects.
