Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent as described below.
• 5 years' experience in electrical field.
• Must possess the appropriate State driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Work with voltage levels up to and including 69kV.
• Familiar with safe use and configuration of electrical test equipment (multimeters, meggers, amp meters, voltage detectors, oscilloscopes, thermal imaging cameras) and perform tests on electrical, electronic and control systems.
• Operate equipment such as bucket trucks, forklifts, man lifts, vehicles and related equipment.
• Inspect, calibrate and repair electrical equipment and instrumentation per standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair defects in control systems using diagrams and PLCs.
• Inspect substations, switchgear, transformers, breakers and disconnects for conditions and perform repairs.
