Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with heavy industrial power plant experience. You will define scope, manage budgets, and coordinate with engineering and field teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include stakeholder communication, change control, invoicing, and ensuring compliance with project schedules. Travel is limited; 138k–198k salary range offered with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with project management methodology including budget development and scheduling.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities for client and team interactions.
• Ability to engage with staff at all levels and with vendors/subcontractors.
• Advanced PC skills including MS Word and Excel.
• Understanding of construction documents production and review.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Prepare SOWs with work breakdown structures and secure approvals.
• Manage project costs and profitability.
• Oversee client invoicing and subcontractor payments.
• Monitor risks and manage changes using formal processes.
• Lead project meetings with stakeholders and provide guidance to engineering teams.
• Coordinate submissions to agencies and ensure compliance.
• Prepare monthly status reports and bid packages.
• Support closeout and lessons-learned sessions.
