Job summary

DCO Energy, LLC seeks a Control Room Operator to manage the operation and maintenance of power plant equipment, including gas turbines, chillers, and cooling towers. The role requires handling routine and emergency situations, logging data, and performing lockout/tagout procedures.

The candidate will monitor process flows, chemistry, and temperatures while ensuring safety protocols and providing coverage for shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or recognized equivalent.
• Two years of vocational training in mechanical or electrical trades.
• Two years of related military or power/industrial plant experience preferred.
• Previous power plant experience with a Stationary engineers license from City of Wilmington DE or State of Delaware.

Responsibilities

• Operate power plant equipment under normal and emergency situations.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of plant equipment.
• Perform chemical analytical tests and monitor process flows and water chemistry.
• Maintain data logs and perform lockout/tagout procedures.
• Cover shifts during PTO or callouts and ensure safety compliance.
