Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a skilled operator to remotely manage multiple combustion turbine generators and related BOP equipment from a fast-paced control center. Responsibilities include starting/stopping engines, emissions control, voltage adjustments, load changes, and alarm management across multiple sites.

The role requires reading P&IDs, maintaining logbooks, and ensuring safe operations. A 12-hour rotating shift with days and nights is expected; candidates must pass pre-employment and NERC

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read P&IDs, electrical one-lines, logic drawings, manuals, I/O lists.
• Must pass NERC background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant operations to ensure units run within design basis and environmental limits.
• Investigate conditions and take corrective actions.
• Control loading of power units per dispatch requirements.
• Observe control panel readings and report abnormal conditions.
• Maintain logs and turnover of operational control; start/stop CTG units as directed.
• Coordinate with on-site crews and SMEs for troubleshooting.
