Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in power plant operations and maintenance
• Experience managing contractors, RFPs, procurement activities, and project budgets
• Experience with operations and maintenance of gas turbines, generators, electronic controls, and monitoring devices
• Prior experience with plant commissioning and start-up preferred
• Experience with GE 7FA, 7EA or Siemens 501 FC/FD turbines preferred
• Proficiency with personal computers, including Excel
• Demonstrated communication, analytical, detail-oriented, and deadlines-driven capabilities

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement maintenance and reliability strategies for multiple simple-cycle facilities.
• Lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of major maintenance activities, inspections, outages, and overhauls.
• Manage capital projects from concept through commissioning and closeout.
• Develop technical scopes of work, RFPs, bid packages, and contractor evaluations.
• Negotiate and administer contractor agreements and service contracts.
• Monitor plant performance, reliability, availability, and maintenance costs.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective action programs.
• Develop annual maintenance and capital budgets and provide forecasting.
