Job summary

1898 & Co. is seeking a Project Manager for its Power Markets group in the US, focused on power market and power supply planning engagements. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships across the full project lifecycle.

You will drive business development, guide complex analyses, and mentor junior staff while delivering defensible, data-driven recommendations to utilities and power producers.

Qualifications

• Experience in power market consulting and power supply planning.
• Experience with U.S. wholesale markets (day-ahead, real-time, capacity markets, ancillary services).
• Familiarity with power market tools like production cost modeling and capacity expansion models.
• Understanding of generation technologies, cost structures, and dispatch.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on consulting engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead power market and power supply planning engagements from business development through execution.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client relationships; guide engineers and analysts.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to growth of the Power Markets practice.
• Lead proposals, scoping, budgeting, and scheduling; negotiate contracts.
