Job summary

Qualifications

ABET-accredited engineering program with at least 3 years related experience.
Master's degree in Engineering or Business with 2+ years related experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Experience in electric utility operations, planning, or consulting.
Experience with power system planning and operations including transient stability and voltage analysis.
Familiarity with NERC, FERC, and Regional requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform transmission planning and operational studies across multiple software tools.
Evaluate regulatory compliance with NERC, FERC, and ISO/RTO standards.
Develop clear technical reports and client-facing presentations.
Lead, mentor, and train junior staff on transmission planning methodologies.
Collaborate across practices and support other business lines as needed.
Manage multiple projects with attention to deadlines.
