Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Groundman to support overhead distribution system construction, repair and maintenance. You will assist the crew, handle safety protocols and operate with PPE during outdoor work.

The role requires a valid driver's license with CDL possibility within 60 days, travel readiness, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks including overtime and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required; CDL within 60 days preferred.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice and work out of state.
• Able to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds; rigorous physical labor.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours, including weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction, repair and maintenance of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair lines, poles, insulators and related hardware.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment and tools in good condition.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions and participate in on-call rotations.
