Job summary

Aggreko in Pearland, TX is hiring a Technician 1 or Technician 2 – Power to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on Jenbacher natural gas generators and large engines.

You will read wiring diagrams, work with 480V three-phase systems, and gain hands-on training on Jenbacher equipment and controls. This is a shop-focused role with some field support travel after six months.

Qualifications

• Experience with power generators or diesel/natural gas engines.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Comfort reading wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on Jenbacher natural gas generators and 12- and 16-cylinder engines.
• Complete mechanical service including oil/filters, valve recession, and component repairs.
• Troubleshoot generator electrical systems including alternators, batteries, and control panels.
• Read wiring diagrams and schematics, troubleshoot 480V three-phase systems.
• Work primarily from Pearland service center with some weekend work and limited travel after six months.
