Job summary

Aggreko plc in North Houston, TX is seeking a Technician 1 — Electric to maintain and repair generators, electrical distribution equipment, chillers and HVAC systems from our North Houston service center.

You will travel to customer sites, perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting, and work overtime as needed to keep customers powered. Aggreko offers strong training, a safety-focused culture and clear career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required with 2+ years of hands-on diesel/generator and HVAC experience.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a TWIC card or DOT medical card as required.

Responsibilities

Based out of our North Houston, TX service center, traveling daily to customer sites in a company vehicle.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, electrical distribution equipment, chillers, HVAC systems, and oil‑free air compressors.
Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer sites, diagnosing and executing repairs.
Set up and operate equipment independently or alongside fellow technicians, both in the shop and on customer sites.
Work overtime and weekends as needed, with potential for travel to support customer operations.
