Job summary

Aggreko, LLC is seeking a Technician 1 — Electric based in North Houston, TX. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair generators, electrical distribution equipment, and HVAC systems to keep customers powered.

Based at the North Houston service center, you'll travel to customer sites in a company vehicle, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, and work overtime as needed. Strong diesel/generator and HVAC experience required.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on experience with diesel/natural gas generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance and repairs.
Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW; read and interpret electrical schematics.
Valid driver's license; ability to obtain/maintain TWIC or DOT medical card as required.

Responsibilities

Based at North Houston, TX service center; travel daily to customer sites in company vehicle.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, electrical distribution equipment, chillers, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors.
Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop and on customer sites; diagnose and execute repairs.
Set up and operate equipment independently or with other technicians, in shop and on customer sites.
Work overtime and weekends as needed; potential for travel to support operations.
