Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking a Power Generation Technical Service Representative to provide technical assistance and authorize warranty repairs for our dealer network. The role requires on-site presence at our Wisconsin-based headquarters and involves dialing in with dealer technicians, documenting issues, and guiding users through warranty processes.

Remote diagnostics support is included. Minimum qualifications include an Associate degree or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred,

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field.
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) is desirable.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and emails from Dealer Technicians and provide standard answers.
• Provide accurate notes during calls and document cases.
• Assist Dealer Technicians with remote diagnostic tools.
• Follow diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot installed systems.
• Gather and prepare documentation on product failures and improvements.
• Instruct dealer technicians on how to navigate warranty systems and submit claims electronically.
