Job summary

Integrated Power Services, LLC. is seeking a Service Manager – Power Generation to lead standby generator and power systems field service operations in the Orlando area. You will drive branch performance, safety, and customer satisfaction while coordinating technicians, support staff, and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, budget or target attainment, and ongoing training to uphold quality and efficiency in service delivery across the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or five years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have related experience in generator, power generation, or a similar industry
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems

Responsibilities

• Own the daily management of standby generator and power systems service operations at the branch and throughout the assigned territory, including preventative maintenance, testing, repairs, retrofits, and emergency response
• Develop and implement business plans and strategies to attain branch goals and set and achieve annual targets for service growth
• Ensure customers’ expectations for service, quality, and on-time delivery are met, maintaining close customer contact through resolution
• Direct communication with the Service Project Manager, technicians, regional staff, and service support staff; manage, coordinate, and prioritize workflow
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations and maintain a safe working environment in the facility and in the field
• Provide assistance with estimates and service projects, assist in development and standardization of work scopes
• Ensure expedient preparation and processing of all service orders, follow-up forms, and field service documents
• Provide or allocate technical assistance with warranty problems and work with warranty administrator toward resolution
• Coordinate and ensure ongoing training and required certifications for technicians, and implement the Quality Assurance Plan
