Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 7 years of related experience including 2+ years in project management.
• Requires professional engineering license (PE) recognized by the licensing board.
• Experience in utility-scale power projects and business development is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and mentorship abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team, manage schedule and budget across disciplines and support technical design and Owner's Engineer activities.
• Provide daily leadership to the project team and technical staff.
• Develop the project work plan for the execution of the project.
• Achieve project schedule, quality and profitability goals; identify and process scope changes.
• Maintain regular communication with the client to align expectations and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain client relations and engage in business development activities.
• Act as proposal manager, review contract terms and conditions, and define scope of work.
• Implement quality control checks and lead design reviews and QA reviews.
• Negotiate changes and administer contracts.
• Provide training and mentoring on project management and consulting issues.
• Routinely report project progress to leadership.
• Perform other duties as needed
