Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Generation Project Manager to lead multi-discipline teams in delivering traditional and renewable power projects, including gas-fired, solar, wind, and storage systems. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget while developing client relationships and pursuing new opportunities.

Ideal candidates have a PE license or eligibility, 7+ years in project management, and strong communication and mentoring abilities, with proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain reciprocity.
• 7+ years related experience including 2+ years in project management.
• Experience with utility-scale power projects a plus.
• Strong communication, leadership and mentoring skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline project teams to successful completion.
• Manage schedule, budget, and client communications.
• Develop project work plans and execution strategies.
• Perform marketing and business development with clients.
• Negotiate terms and manage contract changes.
• Provide training and mentorship to project staff.
• Report progress to leadership on a regular basis.
